This policy explains how Mona Abdi Iradmousa handles personal information connected with monaabdi.ca, general enquiries and consultation bookings. The business provides insurance guidance in Ontario. If you email, call or book a consultation, the information involved may include your name, contact details, selected appointment time and the questions you choose to share. Use general descriptions when first getting in touch. Do not send medical records, Social Insurance Numbers, financial account details or identification documents through ordinary email or social messages. Insurance applications and sensitive records require a separate, appropriate process and any relevant insurer privacy notice.
How information is used
Information is used to respond to your enquiry, arrange and manage a consultation, communicate about your request and maintain records reasonably needed for those purposes or legal and professional obligations. Providing contact details for an enquiry does not enrol you in a marketing mailing list. Personal information is not sold.

When you contact Mona or book an appointment, you choose to provide information for that request. Additional purposes or sensitive information may require further explanation and consent. You may ask questions, decline to provide information that is not needed for the service, or withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual limits and reasonable notice. Withdrawing information needed to arrange a meeting may affect the ability to provide that service.
Website hosting, cookies and external services
The website is hosted through Sites, with infrastructure provided by OpenAI and Cloudflare. Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and security logs to deliver and protect the website. No advertising pixels or audience analytics tools have been added by Mona to these pages. Service providers may use essential cookies or similar technology for security or delivery. English and Persian pages have separate addresses; this website does not require a language-tracking cookie.
Bookings, email and social links
The booking button opens Google Calendar. Appointment details and any joining link are processed through Google’s services, under their own privacy terms. Email is handled by the email service used for the correspondence. Instagram, Facebook and TikTok links take you to external services with their own practices. These services may process information outside Ontario or Canada, where other laws can apply. Review their privacy notices before providing information.
Sharing, safeguards and retention
Information may be handled by service providers needed to deliver the website, communication or booking service, or disclosed where required or permitted by law. An enquiry alone does not authorize an insurance application or disclosure to an insurer for underwriting. Reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information are used, but no online communication can be guaranteed completely secure. Information should be kept only as long as needed for its purpose and applicable legal or professional requirements, then securely deleted or de-identified as appropriate.
Access, corrections and concerns
You may request access to personal information under Mona’s control, ask for a correction, or raise a concern using the contact below. Identity may need to be verified before records can be released. Requests are handled within the time limits required by applicable law; PIPEDA generally requires a response to a written access request within 30 days, with limited permitted extensions and exceptions.
